Update on Framework Agreement
At the Employee and Labour Relations Committee (E&LR) meeting on May 19, 2010, a report on the Framework Agreement from the City Manager, Joe Pennachetti and Bruce Anderson, Executive Director of Human Resources, was submitted for information.
Councillor Frances Nunziata presented a motion to have this report referred to the next E&LR Committee meeting so that it can be discussed, debated, deputed and voted on. As you recall, this report was initiated as a result of a motion introduced by Councillor Karen Stintz on February 22, 2010.
We believe that this is an extremely positive step toward securing a Framework Agreement for non union employees. Mayor Miller committed to scheduling the next E&LR Committee meeting within six to eight weeks.
